- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup of unsalted butter
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the beef chuck roast into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Optionally, sear the beef in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Add the beef, garlic, butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme to the slow cooker and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
- Stir the beef, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
- For best flavor, searing the beef is recommended but not necessary.
- Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread to soak up the sauce.
