- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme, then place in the slow cooker.
- Add sautéed onions, garlic, mushrooms, Marsala wine, and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove chicken, rest, then slice or shred and serve with sauce over pasta or mashed potatoes.

- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
