A quick and delicious pasta dish with a zesty lemon and Parmesan flavor.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of spaghetti or your favorite pasta
  • 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Drain pasta, reserving some water, and add it to the pan with garlic, lemon juice, and zest. Toss to combine.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
  5. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Adjust lemon juice and zest to taste for more or less tanginess.
  • Can add grilled chicken or shrimp for added protein.
