- 8 ounces of spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Drain pasta, reserving some water, and add it to the pan with garlic, lemon juice, and zest. Toss to combine.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Adjust lemon juice and zest to taste for more or less tanginess.
- Can add grilled chicken or shrimp for added protein.
