Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry the shrimp.
  2. Combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; toss shrimp in the mixture.
  3. Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Mix cabbage, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, and honey in a bowl.
  5. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble tacos with shrimp and cilantro lime slaw.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add avocado or a spicy sauce on top.
