- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the shrimp.
- Combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; toss shrimp in the mixture.
- Cook shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Mix cabbage, cilantro, mayonnaise, lime juice, and honey in a bowl.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble tacos with shrimp and cilantro lime slaw.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add avocado or a spicy sauce on top.
- These tacos are best served fresh.
