- 4 large hoagie rolls or French bread
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare the ingredients.
- Melt butter in a pan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to garlic butter and cook until pink and opaque.
- Stir in parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Slice hoagie rolls in half and hollow them out.
- Stuff the bread with the shrimp mixture and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust the level of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
- Garnish with extra parsley for presentation.
