Delicious shrimp burgers with fresh cilantro and creamy guacamole.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice (for guacamole)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Buns of your choice
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, and extra cilantro

Instructions

  1. Chop the shrimp into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine shrimp, breadcrumbs, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch thick burger patties.
  4. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Mash the avocado and mix with sour cream, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make guacamole.
  6. Assemble the burgers with shrimp patties, guacamole, and optional toppings.
