- 8 ounces of pasta (your choice)
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil salted water, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook sausage until browned.
- Add garlic and tomatoes, cooking until fragrant and softened.
- Add shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; cook until shrimp is pink.
- Combine pasta with the sauce, adding reserved water if needed, and stir in parsley.
- Serve garnished with parsley.

- Adjust red pepper flakes to taste for desired spiciness.
- Can substitute pasta with whole grain or gluten-free options.
