Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water or broth, then whisk in cornmeal and cook until thickened; stir in cheddar cheese.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and bell pepper until tender.
  3. Add garlic, then shrimp, cooking until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, Creole seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve grits topped with shrimp and sauce, garnished with green onions.
