To create the ultimate Shrimp and Crab Stuffed Shells, gather the following ingredients:
- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Mix shrimp, crab, ricotta, half mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stuff each shell with the filling and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover stuffed shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Italian herbs to the filling.
- Can substitute other seafood as desired.
