Delicious shrimp and crab grilled cheese bombs with a crispy exterior and creamy filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz. cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 8 oz. crab meat, shredded
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 slices of thick bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix shrimp, crab, mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Spread the filling on a slice of bread and top with another slice to form a sandwich.
  3. Butter the outside of each sandwich.
  4. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Let cool slightly before cutting and serve.

Notes

  • Feel free to swap cheeses or add other seafood options.
  • Use a panini press for an even crispier result.
