- 12 lasagna noodles
Seafood
- 1 pound of lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
Cheeses
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 3 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Sauce
- 4 cups of béchamel sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Vegetables & Aromatics
- 1 cup of fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Oils & Seasonings
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Béchamel Sauce: In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Whisk in 1/4 cup of flour to form a roux. Gradually add 4 cups of milk, whisking constantly. Cook until thickened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Sauté the Seafood: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in lobster meat and spinach, cooking until spinach wilts. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a layer of béchamel sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Add 3 lasagna noodles, half the seafood mix, half the ricotta, and one-third of the mozzarella. Top with béchamel. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles, béchamel, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake the Lasagna: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
