Gather the following ingredients to create your sausage egg breakfast rolls:
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers
Instructions
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, then scramble them in the same skillet until fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked sausage and scrambled eggs in the skillet, adding shredded cheese and optional vegetables until melted.
- Open crescent roll dough, spoon the sausage and egg mixture onto each triangle, and roll from the wide end, sealing the edges.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), place rolls on a baking sheet, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
