- 10 large jalapeño peppers
- 1 pound of ground sausage
- 8 ounces of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup of cream cheese
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare jalapeños by washing, halving, and removing seeds.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil, cook sausage until browned, add shrimp, and cook until pink.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage and shrimp with cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the jalapeño halves with the filling generously.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until tender and golden brown.
