Instructions

  1. Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in rice, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, let sit covered for 5 minutes, fluff with a fork, and garnish with parsley.
