  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and half of the salted caramel sauce.
  5. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, drizzle with remaining caramel, and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
