- 4 red snapper fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1 cup crawfish tails, cooked
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the red snapper fillets with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter, onions, and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
- Stir in crawfish tails and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Return the snapper to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for another 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust seasoning based on your spice preference.
- Serve with fresh parsley for garnish.
