- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot, add linguine, and cook according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat and sauté the diced chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano until browned.
- Push chicken to the side, add butter and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, combine with chicken, then add the cooked linguine and toss with lemon juice.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs in addition to parsley.
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option.
