  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and egg until combined; spread in the baking dish.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture over the cake base and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cool for 30 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.
