Description
Delicious homemade potato nuggets that are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of mashed potatoes (leftover or freshly made)
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (panko works great!)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the mashed potatoes by peeling, boiling, and mashing until cool.
- Mix mashed potatoes with flour, egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until sticky.
- Shape the mixture into nuggets and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Coat each nugget in breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry nuggets in hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
