These pineapple ribs are tender, juicy, and packed with tropical flavors from the marinade.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds of pork ribs
  • 1 cup of fresh pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh pineapple slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the ribs in a resealable bag or bowl with the marinade for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) about 30 minutes before cooking.
  4. Bake the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet for 1.5 to 2 hours, covered with foil.
  5. Glaze the ribs with reserved marinade and broil for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Let the ribs rest, slice, and serve with fresh pineapple slices.

Notes

  • For best flavor, marinate overnight.
  • Keep an eye on the ribs while broiling to prevent burning.
