Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet, alternating with the pineapple juice.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve as desired.
