- 2–3 habanero peppers, seeds removed for less heat
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Chop the fresh pineapple and prepare the habanero peppers.
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
- Store in a bottle or jar and refrigerate.
