- 8 ounces of your favorite pasta (penne or fettuccine works great)
- 1 pound of thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded
- ½ cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers for 5 minutes, add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Push veggies aside, add beef seasoned with salt and pepper, cooking until browned (3-5 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream, simmer briefly, then stir in provolone cheese until melted.
- Add pasta to the skillet, toss to combine, and serve hot garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to use other types of cheese if provolone isn’t available.
