Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups of provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce for an extra kick

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion and bell pepper until tender (5-7 minutes).
  2. Add ribeye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5-6 minutes).
  3. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the steak and vegetable mixture on the bread and top with provolone cheese.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
