- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 pound of ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups of provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: hot sauce for an extra kick
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion and bell pepper until tender (5-7 minutes).
- Add ribeye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (5-6 minutes).
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the steak and vegetable mixture on the bread and top with provolone cheese.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
