  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak, bell peppers, onion, and mince the garlic.
  2. Layer the sliced steak, onions, and bell peppers in the crock pot, topping with minced garlic.
  3. Mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and paprika in a bowl, then pour over the layered ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. If desired, thicken the sauce with cornstarch mixed with water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  6. Stir well before serving over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch towards the end of cooking.
