- 1.5 pounds of flank steak, sliced thinly
- 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak, bell peppers, onion, and mince the garlic.
- Layer the sliced steak, onions, and bell peppers in the crock pot, topping with minced garlic.
- Mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and paprika in a bowl, then pour over the layered ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- If desired, thicken the sauce with cornstarch mixed with water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Stir well before serving over rice or noodles.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, add cornstarch towards the end of cooking.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
