  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and yeast, let sit until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt, then mix in flour to form soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1 hour.
  4. Prepare peach filling by mixing sliced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the peach mixture over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice into 12 pieces, placing them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Let the rolls rise covered for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar with milk to create frosting.
  11. Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
