- 4 cups of fresh broccoli florets
- 4 strips of bacon
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (optional)
- Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes; flip halfway through.
- Remove bacon and drain; add olive oil and broccoli to the skillet, sauté for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Crumble bacon back into the skillet, mix, and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice; cook for another minute.
- Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with Parmesan cheese if desired, and serve warm.
