Before you begin, gather all your ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need for the ultimate Oreo Dump Cake:
- 1 package of Oreo cookies (about 15–18 cookies)
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz), softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of whipped topping (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, milk, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Layer half of the cake batter, half of the crushed Oreos, the cream cheese mixture, the remaining cake batter, and top with the remaining Oreos in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
