- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked pasta or rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp, sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque; remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 more tablespoons of butter, add chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Mix in heavy cream and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in sauce, simmer for an additional 2 minutes, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
