Gather these ingredients to whip up your own One-Pan Creamy Chicken Orzo:
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Sauté diced chicken in olive oil, season with salt and pepper, until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onion until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add orzo to the skillet, stir to coat, then pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, return chicken to skillet, add spinach, and combine.
- Serve warm topped with Parmesan cheese.
