- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown, then set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute, then pour in heavy cream and simmer.
- Stir in chopped basil and Parmesan cheese, then add Italian seasoning.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, top with mozzarella, cover, and cook until cheese melts (5-10 minutes).
