- 1 lb of breakfast sausage (or turkey sausage for a leaner option)
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups of frozen hash browns
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 diced bell pepper (any color)
- 1 cup of diced onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: hot sauce for added kick
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Transfer the cooked sausage to the crock pot, add hash browns, bell pepper, and onions, and stir well.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, then pour over the mixture in the crock pot and stir gently.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
