Gather these ingredients to create your Miso Short Ribs with Cilantro Sauce:
- 4 lbs beef short ribs
- 1/2 cup miso paste (white or yellow)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Marinate short ribs in the mixture, refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Transfer ribs to a baking dish, pour remaining marinade over, and cover with foil.
- Bake for about 3 hours until ribs are tender.
- Mix cilantro and green onions for the sauce.
- Let ribs rest for 10 minutes, then serve with cilantro sauce.
