  • 4 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1/2 cup miso paste (white or yellow)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Marinate short ribs in the mixture, refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  4. Transfer ribs to a baking dish, pour remaining marinade over, and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for about 3 hours until ribs are tender.
