This Million Dollar Lasagna is a delicious blend of beef, sausage, and creamy cheeses layered with marinara sauce for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 package lasagna noodles
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, dried basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Boil salted water, cook lasagna noodles until al dente (8-10 minutes), then drain and lay flat.
  4. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer marinara sauce, noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat, finishing with noodles and marinara on top; sprinkle remaining cheeses.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
