- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces pasta (rotini works great!)
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet, breaking it into pieces.
- Add diced green bell pepper and onion, sauté until tender.
- Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, and pepperoni; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix cooked pasta with meat mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to a greased casserole dish; top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
