- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then drain.
- Sauté Brussels sprouts and minced garlic in the same skillet with olive oil for about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine sautéed Brussels sprouts, bacon, heavy cream, maple syrup, and half of the Gruyère cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining Gruyère and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
