- 1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 slices of crispy bacon
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sliced onions with salt. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and roll out the pizza dough to a 12-inch round.
- Spread caramelized onions over the dough, then add mozzarella cheese, crumbled bacon, and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley, slice, and serve hot.
