Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (about 68 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the top shell of each lobster tail and gently pull it apart to expose the meat.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, and sauté. Stir in parsley, chives, and lemon juice.
  3. Season lobster tails with salt and pepper, then coat with half of the herb butter.
  4. Place tails on a baking sheet, pour remaining butter over, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden finish, then let rest.
  6. Serve with remaining herb butter and lemon slices.

Notes

  • Ensure not to burn the garlic while sautéing.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
