- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1 pound of thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye)
- 1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush onto sliced French bread.
- Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in olive oil until soft.
- Add thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned; stir in Worcestershire sauce.
- Assemble the bread with sautéed beef and veggies, then top with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite spices to the beef.
- Can substitute other cheeses if desired.
