Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 pound of thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye)
  • 1 cup of provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush onto sliced French bread.
  3. Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in olive oil until soft.
  4. Add thinly sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned; stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Assemble the bread with sautéed beef and veggies, then top with provolone and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, slice, and serve warm.
