Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: chop chicken, mince garlic, and zest/juice lemon.
  2. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  6. Stir in parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
