Delicious lasagna roll-ups filled with a creamy ricotta and mozzarella mixture, baked in marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil lasagna noodles in salted water until al dente, then drain and cool.
  2. Mix ricotta, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and some mozzarella in a bowl.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and assemble the roll-ups in a baking dish with marinara sauce at the bottom.
  4. Cover roll-ups with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden.
  6. Let sit for 5 minutes, garnish with basil or parsley, and serve.
