To make your own Key Lime Pie Rice Krispie Treats, you will need the following ingredients:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 1/4 cup key lime juice (freshly squeezed is best!)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
- Optional: graham cracker crumbs for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, then add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in key lime juice, lime zest, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and press the mixture evenly into it. Cool for about 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares and optionally top with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs.

- For best flavor, use freshly squeezed key lime juice.
- Allow the treats to cool completely before cutting for cleaner squares.
