- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, checking with a toothpick.
- Cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
