Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add marinara sauce to the sausage and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble sliders by placing the bottom halves of buns in a baking dish, adding the sausage mixture, pepperoni, olives, and mozzarella.
  5. Top with the bun halves, sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning, and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbling and golden.
