- 12 slider buns
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce to the sausage and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Assemble sliders by placing the bottom halves of buns in a baking dish, adding the sausage mixture, pepperoni, olives, and mozzarella.
- Top with the bun halves, sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning, and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbling and golden.
