Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing in vanilla extract.
- Mix in sour cream until combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Layer half of the batter in the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture, add the rest of the batter, and top with the remaining mixture, swirling gently.
- Bake for about 50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Ensure not to overmix the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy.
