Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet with onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  4. Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Add the remaining potato slices on top.
  6. Mix cream of mushroom soup and milk, then pour over the potatoes.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is golden.
