Ingredients

- 1 pound of sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 skewers (wooden or metal)
For the chimichurri sauce, gather these fresh ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the steak and shrimp in olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the chimichurri sauce by mixing parsley, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, red pepper flakes, and salt.
- Skewer the marinated steak, shrimp, and vegetables alternately on the skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the steak is medium-rare and shrimp are cooked through.
- Serve the skewers with chimichurri sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
- For enhanced flavor, marinate the steak and shrimp overnight.
- Adjust seasoning and chimichurri ingredients to taste.
