- 1 pound fresh scallops, cleaned and patted dry
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the scallops by cleaning and drying them; melt butter with garlic, parsley, thyme, and lemon juice.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F to 450°F).
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and firm.
- Baste with garlic herb butter during the last minute of grilling.
- Serve immediately, drizzled with remaining garlic herb butter.
Notes
- Ensure scallops are dry before grilling for the best sear.
- Use a grill pan if you don’t have an outdoor grill.
