- 1 box of strawberry cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
- 8 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a bowl until combined.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Grease a 9×13 inch pan and pour the batter into it.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 15 minutes before serving; add whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor, but frozen works too.
