Here’s what you’ll need to create this savory masterpiece:
- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- 1 pound ground pork or chicken
- 2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups bok choy, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine ground pork or chicken with ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Fill and seal wonton wrappers.
- Boil water and cook the wontons for 3-5 minutes until they float. Remove and set aside.
- Heat chicken broth, add bok choy and mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked wontons to the broth, stir gently, and adjust seasoning as necessary.

- Wontons can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
