Here’s what you’ll need to create this savory masterpiece:

  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork or chicken
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups bok choy, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine ground pork or chicken with ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Fill and seal wonton wrappers.
  2. Boil water and cook the wontons for 3-5 minutes until they float. Remove and set aside.
  3. Heat chicken broth, add bok choy and mushrooms, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add cooked wontons to the broth, stir gently, and adjust seasoning as necessary.
